During the renovation they will continue to offer all of the services we normally provide.Construction of a new Calypsos poolside restaurant and bar:1.Construction of our new poolside restaurant and bar will begin August 1, 2016.2.Calypsos, the current poolside restaurant and bar, will remain open during the construction. 3.The new Calypsos restaurant is scheduled to open November 25, 2016. 4.The old Calypsos restaurant is scheduled for removal December 10 – 24, 2016. Construction of a new Calypsos poolside restaurant and bar: 1.A solid wall will be erected around the construction zone which will limit visibility of the project. 2.Work will take place 7 days a week. 3.Some noisy work may occur on random days throughout the project. 4.The private villa pool, located away from the main pool area, will also be available for guest use. They are also upgrading all 10 elevator landings inside Tower II (where 406 one-bedroom suites located):1.Floors 2 through 10 in Tower II will be completely closed from August 8 – 23, 2016. 2.Floors 1 through 10 in Tower II will be completely closed from August 24 – September 22, 2016. 3.Individual floors will begin to re-open to guests beginning September 23, 2016. 4.All floors in Tower II will be re-opened by November 4,2016. Although most work areas will be blocked from view at ground level, the work area may be visible from some of our guest suites, on higher floors that are facing the pool. Please be advised the hotel has updates on the renovations for the following:1. Construction of the New Calypso’s Poolside Restaurant and Bar is scheduled to be fully open on January 2, 2017. 2. Demolition and removal of the Old Calypso’s Poolside Restaurant and Bar is scheduled to be fully completed and the area is open. During the remainder of the renovation project, the hotel will continue to offer all of the services normally provided by Calypso’s Poolside Restaurant and Bar:- F and B will have Portable Bars set up at the Old Calypso’s location starting December 22, 2016 from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm (weather permitting) and full cocktail and food service will be available poolside.
